Deedra Hayes

Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock LPC-S, In-person & Telehealth

Hello! My name is Deedra Hayes, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also hold a B.A. in Sociology, which has given me valuable insights into the complexities of human behavior and societal challenges.

With a professional background in client advocacy and behavioral support, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. My work is rooted in providing compassionate, solution-focused care tailored to each client’s unique needs. I specialize in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and women’s mental health, with an emphasis on fostering growth and resilience. My training in cognitive behavioral techniques equips me to guide clients through transformative changes in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

As someone dedicated to working with diverse populations, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to overcome challenges. Together, we can explore solutions and discover the tools to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
