Hello my name is Carisa Kerwin and I am currently a graduate student in Lamar University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, where I am dedicated to developing a deep understanding of mental health issues and effective therapeutic interventions. With a strong foundation in education, having spent seven years as a teacher, I bring a compassionate and patient-centered approach to my counseling practice. My background in education has equipped me with valuable skills in communication, empathy, and problem-solving, which I integrate into my therapeutic work.
