Promyse Draper
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Supervised by Shirley Nedock, LPC-Supervisor, In-person & Telehealth
Hi, my name is Promyse Draper, and I am a graduate student at Walden University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I earned my B.A. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and have worked as a special education teacher in Austin ISD for the past two years.
My counseling approach is rooted in client-centered and cognitive-behavioral theories, focusing on creating a safe, supportive space for growth. I integrate mindfulness and practical tools, such as DBT techniques, to help clients navigate challenges and build resilience.
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, supporting them through life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. I look forward to walk alongside clients on their journey to healing!
